Silent Smile

Silent smile, how hauntingly
you tease my lips into a curl,
as eyes unfurl a veil to reveal
thesparkling hues of sunlit dew;
when petulant and tremulous
you dare to draw a tear into my eye,
and turn your smile upside down
as feelings spiral all around inside.

Expressive twitch, an almost smile,
not quite ready to reveal itself;
how exquisitely you gently ease
emotion into motion streaming
as laughter lightly bubbles up
to giggle through the wiggling
of an errant fingertip,
swirling hair into the air,
then dropping curls into a satin flow.

Just then you draw my hand
into a movement unforeseen
slowl approach into your heavenly curves.
It swerves and gently sweeps across your cheek
and all the while, your silent smile
plays a haunting melody within my heart , , ,
