The Moon

Crystal curves of night's delight
Jewel of all mystic sight
Amber facets, rosy glows
Absorbed within the indigo

It teetered 'tween the all and nothing
Love or void, which would it choose?
Flesh or mind...? The breath unwinds.
And still it lingers on...

Running in the rainbow
Streaming through the sky
Sinking then, into the deep
Where is the lullaby?

Spiraling in circles
Closer to the core
Diving through the levels
Trying to restore
Love...

Hear it then, the rhythm
of the ever-beating heart.
Embracing mediocrity,
it stutters and it stops.

The greatest silence ever known
lies here, within the twilight zone,
where mists abound
and dreams ring round
the moon...
