What magic lies just on the
other side?
Wild horses drove him there,
beyond
the highest peak. Lured by
whispers,
succulent and sweet, because
forbidden.
Bubbling, the cauldron burned
above
the blazing fire. The spell
was cast,
enchantment thick upon the
tainted air.
The energies of earth are
deep
and stronger than us all.
And there he took his fall,
believing
it was his ascent. Moon and
stars
were blended in a fuzziness
of mind.
Pleasure sang, and clarity
dissolved.
Mere moments and his soul
was bound
within her blazing touch.
Light seeks darkness to survive
the night. And fueled by
the battle
building deep within his
soul, he
stole away without a single
word
of his intent. Blaming her
for all
the energy he chose to spend
along the way.
Witch's brew - the fire water,
never leaving air enough
to
breathe...
