And She Was There

Child of the never meant to be
"I'm real!" she shouted into empty air.
Everywhere, the echoes played rebound.
The only other sound, an endless drone.
Society completing yet another set of clones.

Magic children of the make-believe.
Wavering within the mists of all eternity.
Like deity, they needed a belief
that only could be had from the creators
of the animated plays upon
the stage of life and love.

Timeless child of a dream that they once dreamed.
The one composed of loving fantasy.
Time-bound, the current version of reality.
Black and white, the many hues of in between
kept swirling within her heart and soul.

Once upon a time, a child was born.
One that couldn't live within the norms.
More and more, reality was fading from her eyes.
Inside, the endless skies were living her.

Child of the never meant to be
"I'm real!" she shouted into utter, outer, empty space.
Everywhere, the echoes played rebound.
Infinity created by a sound.
And she was there...
