Hot and Sultry

Hot and sultry, moist and hard.
Lazy motion, flame's regard.
Slow and sweet, the growing heat.
Drawing spirit fire, and beating
heart into each particle of flesh.

The scents of summer night brings on
a need to frolic, naked in the sun.
Sun and moon and starlight streaming,
airwaves moving - ever gleaming,
Welcoming this light that sinks so deep.
Beauty born beyond the measuring.

She touches him, and he responds.
Ripples build within the pond.
The wind picks up and lifts them then
into a realm where bliss remains
the essence and the meaning of it all.

Whirlwind containing peace
at that one point where center ceases
to enclose itself. And rather than a fall,
it is uplifting beyond mind's imagining.
Hot and sultry, soul's desire -
to wake the great indwelling fire
of love...
