On and On

The pull is strong.
The river just keeps running on and on.
Deep, the feel of its depressive attitudes and moods.
It permeates the atmosphere with shady hues of blues.
It's hard to stay afloat when we keep thinking that
another dive might make our lives complete.
And yet a whispered voice intones the moans of those
who took the dive but never did arrive back at the surface.
Heady, all the leaves are spinning restlessly within the wind.
Particles of sun's delight are dancing everywhere.
The pull is strong.
The river just keeps running on and on.
Oh, for the days when grounding was a friend.
Another point of view is beckoning.
It's mystery must overlook the feel of that embodied
rush of heavy water's reign. The spirit lifts
within a twist. Another turn, and breaking free -
we're flying in the fantasy of sky's enlightening
where rivers rush into the pregnant sea...
