Spinning Out

Dawn - the sun is rising yet again -
o'er the horizon. Such splendor in the
loving hope that's found in this, our world,
still spinning out the mystery of life.
Sunset colors juxtaposed, as if a
mirror image were surrounding everything.
Left is right and up is down somehow.
Blessed be the vision of right now.

May through September, the romance went on.
What will we do through all the winter long...?
More quickly, it approaches yet again.
That chilling feel that seems to put
our hearts and souls to sleep.

Days grown short, the nights too long.
Strong, your choice to just be gone from me.
Stronger than our history of loving mystery.
But not for me. No, never that for me.

Dawn - the sun is rising yet again -
o'er the horizon. Such splendor in the
loving hope that's found in this, our world,
still spinning out the mystery
of life and love in flesh and form
and me...
