Unforgiving

Blasphemy, he had denied
a miracle of love come true.
There was nothing left that he could do
to change the choice he'd made.

Another day, and still, the feel
of misery is real and overwhelming.
He pastes another smile on his face,
remembering lost times of living grace.

Glassy eyes, he never really sees
what's happening. Acceptance lies
in doing what they say. The tainted
tinge of darkness grows, where
used to live his soul.

Blasphemy, he had denied
a miracle of love come true.
Unforgiving attitudes surround
him everywhere, yet still,
he chooses still, to do no more
than just to linger there...
