Blasted, the incarceration
moved itself into their
lives.
Hearth and home become
the walls of their imprisonment.
They held themselves
within their walls of
fear.
Their courage spent in
all too many rounds
of turning tales round
to please the crowd.
They fled again. It wasn't
a surprise.
The mystery lay in the
plight
of feeling all that pain
unto its end.
Blasted, their incarceration
-
moving ever deeper into
them.
The blandness of their
days
could not amend the greater
wrong.
They could not help but
feel the blues
that dwelt within their
great love songs.
Blasted, the incarceration
moved itself into
their lives again...
