Complications

Secrets held within the blood,
spoke of complications in their moods.
Arteries and veins ran straight into
an endless sea that rarely ever
brought them back to harmony.

Storm clouds raged. The children's
laughter quickly turned to fear.
The evil in the god was drawing near.
Distance stretched, evaporated.
Deep within their hearts they were as one.

The energy of bliss was used
for something other than their kiss
of evermore in love. To buy, to sell,
to steal it all - the difference was minute.

The anger held inside had conquered
every loving mystery they'd held.
It grew within the core of every cell.

Chemistry run rampant on the streets.
The full moon looking down at moot defeat.
Fire raged. The mob was crazed.
Shouting the insanity they lived.

Lightning flashed. The thunder crashed in glee.
Manmade beauty centered in destruction.
The arts of life had found the great misfunction
of computer systems looping
wildly between the barriers.
Within, without - the doubt had disappeared.
Like to like, the terror became clear.

Like secrets held within the blood that
spoke of complications in their moods.
Arteries and veins ran straight into
an endless sea that rarely ever
brought them back to harmony.

The scientists confessed
they had no answers.
And in their fall,
the healing began...
