Could Not Be Denied

At the last, they finally surrendered.
Drifting back to dreams of love in life.
The strife had never earned a place
within love's greater reckoning.

Love was calling. Starlight falling.
Spring so lush, it could not be denied.
Moisture still enrapturing the seeds.
Growth an implication that could
never be denied.

To face the unbelievable explosion -
and still survive. All in one, within
this innocence. Death to birth
to life enforced by powers always
mightier than any mortal will
could ever hold unto itself
in will of worship.

The masculine and feminine,
were for too long held as opposites
within the core of men's survival
tactics. Mere mortals, and yet still
they sought the source of every
life's awakening.

Subtle that - the mightiest of powers.
Invisible to any that had never really
learned the feel of life in flesh and form.
Reaching yet again to be reborn.
Turned back, yet once again,
by powers greater than the strings
they thought to hold within their
little, mortal hands.

It has no name - this one and only
deity that binds the great extremes
within itself. One unto the other,
evermore. Whispering, the secrets
passed so quickly in the wind.
For at the last, they finally surrendered.

Drifting back to dreams of love in life.
Love was calling. Starlight falling.
Spring so lush, it could not be denied.
Moisture still enrapturing the seeds.
Love's growth the implication
that could never be denied...
