Curse of Fear

Was it only yesterday she'd felt secure...?
Before the ancient curse of fear
aroused itself and entered into her.
Lonely woman, lonely man.
Together, facing all the pain.
Drawn apart, the banshees howled on.

While father figured, mother moaned.
Gold gilding chipping off the throne.
The stones around their necks
were much too large.
He hung himself in the garage one day.
No matter how he wished that he could stay.

Smothered by the pansies growing
o'er his grave, in shadows glowing;
secretly inheriting death's wish.
Passing on the great inheritance.
Was it only yesterday she'd felt secure...?
