She Felt It Still

Little tiny, moments.
Just mere particles of life.
Her love was coming back to her again.
He hardly knew what he had done
and yet she felt it still.

The love she'd given him had come unspun
within the variations chosen as his own.
It had been done unconsciously,
and yet a cruelty lay at the base.

Run down by so much more than vice,
she'd suffered more that thrice the call
of love that he'd abandoned.
The years sped by - within the third,
a key. Golden glow beyond his mockery.

Stormy skies imparting blessings -
moving through her misery.
Within the darkness,
still the embers burned.
Spurned by those she held too close,
it was as if the shadow broke.

Dazzling, the light of life in love.
Her burning orbs of eyes became
the skies of ever-after. Still alive,
her heaven found her there,
beyond the endless count of stairs.

She knew much more than any teacher
ever thought to teach. She reached
yet one more time for unity.
Sparkling, the magic waiting.
Opening, at last abating,
all the torture of her long-held grief.

Brief and yet eternal.
Star-struck and infernal.
Falling turned into another rise.
The skies had always been
her best of friends. And even now,
the glimmer of the stars was reaching
into her again.

Wonder struck. The strength of all the love
within her heart would hold her up.
God was never just a male.
A half could never make the whole
into the light of day. Whatever could
behold it but the darkness of the flesh
and form created...?

Little tiny, moments.
Just mere particles of life.
Her love was coming back to her again.
He hardly knew what he had done
and yet she felt it still.
Particle by particle - in to infinity...
