The Fear

The terrorists were winning after all.
There, in every shadow in the hall.
An evil lurked. And nothing could
dispel the fear of all they really were.

The waiting rooms were filling up.
The doctors were appalled.
The old and young, the tall, the small.
The virus really didn't care at all.

Chaos entered, breaking through
once even tempered lives.
The battles of the gods took
all the innocence from life.

The terrorists were winning after all.
There, in every shadow in the hall.
An evil lurked. For nothing could
dispel the fear of death
they held inside...
