To See Eternity

Frozen in the feeling of an awesome mystery.
Unregarded terror tempering the majesty.
Just long enough for mortal eyes to see eternity.

White light - at first a burst too unforgiving.
Lived again in increments within a dream's progression.
Startled, stunned, the shock repeated, for a little while.

Yet in that instant, the world came alive in newborn form.
The change in point of view was that complete.
That quick, just like a ray of light caught leaping.

Random incubation in a living cell of light.
Universal implication at its best.
Fundamental mystery enhanced.

The paradigms were leaping out the windows.
The terrorists exploding, one by one.
As unknowable and grandiose, a different mind took hold.

And they were frozen in the feeling of an awesome mystery.
Unregarded terror tempering the majesty.
Just long enough for mortal eyes to see eternity...
