Within the Wind

Wind whipping down the avenues.
Destruction, as the tyrant moves it all.
The day can't dawn amid the wrong.
They plotted and they planned the misery.

Drifting in a cold insanity.
Sucking all the life from infancy.
Mood swings bought and paid for
at the drive-through pharmacy.

Another gust is thrust through primacy.
Visions wake into their memories.
Wind whipping down the avenues.
Destruction, as the tyrant moves it all.

Unknown, the tyrant falls into their dreams,
culling all the edges off their schemes.
Masculine, their images of deity impinge -
in dark of night, into the lives they live...
