order turned to chaos as he fell.
One little slip of that control he held
so desperately within a grasp grown cold.
Caught up in an endless swell
of great regret and losses unredeemed.
It seemed as if his world were turning over.
Rushing through the deep and tainted water
of deep emotions running under ground.
And he couldn't keep up.
He just couldn't keep up with the change.

And everywhere he turned was perilous.
Shadows lurking in the light.
Monsters waking in the night.

His strength turned into stubborn grunts.
The hunter that became the hunt.
Haunted by a querulous disease.
Memories that only served to tease.
He couldn't repent.
His pride won't allow it.
The unrelenting mystery grew bold.
Body stiffened by the growing old.
And the order turned to chaos
as he fell...
