Intermesh

A querulous tie lay exposed in the sky.
As particles of flesh that never met
and yet became an uttered part of me and you.
Expressing what the others never knew.
Searching through the shadowed halls.
To read the writing on the walls.
Redeeming darkness with a living light.
The facets shining dull to bright.
Like a jewel, naked in the night.
Or stardust floating in the indigo.
There are so many things
a human mind can never know.
And yet a querulous tie
lay exposed in the sky.
And these particles of flesh that never met
responded in the cosmic dark and light
and intermeshed...
