It Isn't Right

I caught him.
Saw him out the
corner of my eye.
Standing there,
right in plain sight.
It isn't right for him
to stare and look
at me that way.
For too long now,
I didn't wish to know,
the way his manhood
grew too bold.
Left uncontrolled.
Lust wondering
where it should never go.
He thought it wouldn't show.
That I would always fall into his trap.
Each time I tried to take a nap
he dreamed that he was there.
The energy within his stare
was startling but clear.
He came too near without consent.
Touching close while he was far away.
In sleep, I never could hold him at bay.
And I am tired of those sleepless nights.
Woken up and standing watch because
he wouldn't ever leave my dreams alone.
He thought that he could hide it
in the twists and turns created
by his labyrinthine mind.
He thought I'd never find him hiding there.
I caught him though.
Saw him out the corner of my eye.
Right in plain sight.
It isn't right for him to look
at me that way...
