Something happens.
You start to see it all differently.
The life you lived is empty
and too full of great despair.
Your psyche breaks to bits
and pieces, letting in the awful,
sordid air. Poisoned by
the ones outside their souls.
It's all too clear.
You feel their fear.
Your heart can't take
the way they never care.
You try to hide inside
but find the others
are already waiting there.
As if they had a line -
direct connection.
Firing sparks in your imagination.
Ballast blown.
Away from home.
Something happens.
And you're not alone.
But no one speaks the truth.
They're busy clinging to
a youth no longer there.
You sit in darkened rooms
and stare into an emptiness.
Where once a fire burned with life,
ashes choke the veins,
once bright with love.
Something happens.
Something happened.
Oh, my God...
