I
love you so.
We're
different and it shows.
I
need to know you love me anyway.
How
else can this mistrust be kept at bay?
Unless
we strive, with heartfelt care
to
find the values that we share -
freely
given, joyously returned.
Tempering
the fire that still burns
within
our souls for mind's ideals.
Reaching
out a hand to comfort
sorrows
born by one alone.
Offering
a gentle kind of action
when
the world's sins can't be atoned.
It
starts and ends with one alone,
while
love becomes the union.
Pouring
out its gifts of care
through
all the love that flows between
each
you and every me.
I
love you so.
Please
love me in return.
Warmth
feels so good, but God, the fire burns
in
each battle played out in society.
A
kind that never could feel right to me.
No
matter any named divinity.
Human
in nature, hearts beat at the core
by
the meaning in which
all
our love has been born.
Ignore
it or lose it -
Worst
sorrow of all.
People
building all those walls.
Love
doesn't care.
It
needs to share
for
real...
