They speak as if the anger that they feel
is the only feeling that, to them, is real
they've forgotten how it feels to love
the beauty of the clouds in sky above,

the joy and wonder in a child's eye,
the innocence of asking how and why
assuming, in their anger, that they know
forgetting they are here to quest and grow

and fear will permeate their every move
until, no matter what, they disapprove
of all that they have never known to be
like grace of spirit when we set it free

they forget the child-like glee of form
and only see the law of norm
sacrificing all that they might be
a part of circle's symmetry

they follow rules of sick society
and revel in their staunch sobriety
thinking themselves better than the rest
and never put themselves up to the test

and wonder why the love no longer sings
when they, themselves, refuse to use their wings
to fly above the common set of mind
to seek the answers that the questions findů
