Beyond hypnosis
beneath the deepest trance
the entrance to the realm of feeling waits
where all that lies within the depths congeals
and seems to form in shadows that will dwell
within us all until we find the strength
to finally awaken

from social rules and laws' decree
as beyond religiosity, the soul arises
and yet to reach these heights
we must deign to travel further down
than we have ever been before
and dare to open every door
that fear once put in place

while memories begin to play
of feelings long thought gone
and days of yore relive themselves
for their feeling still remains
memorized
by these unending cells of flesh
but something new is happening now

for each cell begins to slowly glow
in its awakened form
and warmth flows through
a million channels
never felt before

Where once a numbness dwelt
new life begins to dance
for we've been given
yet another chance
