He

So clear
this feeling of your presence
even as it slips away

You - vortex of energy
swirling in infinity;
motion of grace unending

And he came
with a bouquet of words
sweet as a thousand summers
and lifted me from my bed
into the starry skies
and I found myself shining

With just a glance
he stole my heart away
with whispers of sunset, moonrise,
the secrets of the rose in bloom.
Gently, he awakened me

And still, he stayed
to watch over even my dreams
to guide me toward the golden light
that held within a dusty pink
and shades of blue deeper than a night-time sky

He opened me
to worlds I never knew existed
sparkling as if new
yet older that the dawn

He touched me
so serenely
his tenderness outlived
the memory of his words

He sleeps now
with angels all around
to dream that golden dream that ever is
and in his dream,
the world’s reborn forever
