Hung in Suspension

Oh, how I miss the love we shared
the gentleness of when you cared
for me

the time we spent in nature's presence
touching earth and sky and essence
to see

the beauty seen through loving eyes
the sun, the moon, the starry skies
will be

a constant reminder of the time now gone
an emptiness that says it's done
Eternity

hung in suspension
rather than love's sweet ascension
when to be

meant you and I as one
together in the rain or sun
dreaming of infinity

in a time not long ago
when you and I merged with the greater flow
of love

now, how I miss the love we shared
the gentleness of when you cared
for me
