Transition (III)

Now, in time, at last there comes transition
when past injustice rises to the fore
Obedience is seen as mere submission
and faith the lie of all that went before

that covers over and denies desire
and splits the soul in half to ease the mind
until the grief that smothered inner fire
released, enables troubled heart to find

the center, point of balance, view complete
that joins extremes in sudden unity
when body, mind and soul in union sweet
touch source and sense the soulís infinity

and there, in high-pitched tone of silence saw
the essence of their spiritís power grow
when pain became the bridge oíer mighty flaw
and God became the beauty of the flow

of energy in constant flux of movement
as wind blew grace of stardust from the sky
in transition, sudden sight of all that love meant
and soul, like winged angel, learned to fly
